A VINE date is not automatically a projected prison-release date. MODOC’s calculated sentence dates live in its offender data, while a county detainee’s release depends on bond, court authority, sentence credit, holds, and jail processing. A person can also be physically out of prison but remain under parole or conditional-release supervision.
